Board awards $5,000 tourism grant to Rotary Club for Oktoberfest

Brogdon described family activities and the addition of a kid’s corner for this 15th annual event. Trustee Steve Retzer moved to approve the tourism grant and Trustee Michael Preston seconded; the board approved the grant unanimously.
Trustees noted the event’s fundraising role for the Rotary Club and recorded the grant approval without further conditions.
