Constance Barone appointed Hounsfield Town Historian after former historian's death

Supervisor Arthur read correspondence notifying the board that longtime Town Historian Jeannie Brennan passed away on July 31. In response, Constance Barone submitted an email asking to be considered for the position. On motion by Councilman LaDuc and second by Councilwoman Nier, the board appointed Constance Barone as Town Historian; the motion passed with all ayes.
The minutes record the board's formal appointment and condolence for the former historian; the town will update records to reflect Barone as the appointed historian going forward.
