Chris Ewan, the city's community development director, announced that Essex Junction has been selected as a Development Ready Community partner with the State of Vermont and invited the public to an "802 Homes" event to examine template home designs.
"So Essex Junction has been selected as a development ready community... One of the events... is called, 802 homes," Ewan said, adding the event will be held at EJRP on Feb. 7 at 4 p.m. He said the state is designing replicable home drawings that fit Vermont architectural vernacular and that the city will test-fit some of the designs on local parcels.
