Following an executive-session discussion on pending civil litigation, the South Burlington City Council voted to approve a settlement agreement with Steven and Laura DeMaroney and to accept a warranty deed of easement conveying frontage at 1520 Dorset Street for the Dorset Street shared-use path project.
Councilor Laurie moved the settlement motion as read into the record, which described compensation payment and authorization for the city manager to sign the settlement and warranty deed. After discussion and a roll-call voice vote the chair announced four ayes and one nay. Councilor Andrew recorded the lone no vote. The accepted easement was identified in the agenda as Parcel 10 on the Dorset Street shared-use path project.
