Teachers and parents urge district to restore aide in Alternative Education classroom

Ammon Saboe, a parent and district substitute teacher, urged the board to visit the classroom to assess the situation in person and to see the impact of the staffing reduction. The speakers said the program currently operates with fewer adults than when the aide position existed and asked the board to consider options to restore that support. The board acknowledged the concerns and asked follow-up questions; no formal action was taken at the meeting.
