Commission authorizes $900,276 in claims, lists major street and courthouse projects

Anaconda-Deer Lodge County commissioners on July 7 authorized payment of claims numbered 149750 through 149885 totaling $900,276.02. Commissioner Ed Beaudette moved to authorize the claims and Commissioner Steve Gates seconded; the motion passed 5-0.
Chair Kevin Hart itemized the largest invoices: $301,591 to Hoffman R&M for street improvements; $99,940 to Hydro-Tech for courthouse stone and floor repairs; $124,962 to MMIA for FY2027 insurance; $15,555 to Helena Sand and Gravel for Upper Hill Cemetery Road work; and multiple other vendor invoices for Anaconda street improvements, animal shelter work, and Bowman Field improvements. "Of the total amount of claims, there are eleven of them that actually total 75% of the claims," Hart said as he read the vendor list.
