Anaconda-Deer Lodge County commissioners voted 5-0 to introduce ADLC Ordinance No. 282, an amendment to Chapter 20 (Utilities) of the county Code of Ordinances, and to schedule a public hearing on the ordinance for July 7, 2026.
The motion to introduce and set the hearing was moved by Commissioner Paul Smith and seconded by Commissioner Ed Beaudette; Chair Kevin Hart opened the floor for public comment and none was offered. The introduction places the ordinance on the commission's July 7 agenda so the body and members of the public can consider revisions and submit testimony before any final vote.
The transcript does not include the ordinance's substantive text or a staff summary of proposed changes; county staff will publish the ordinance language and supporting materials ahead of the July 7 public hearing.
