Commissioners approve personnel classifications, raffle permit and a $1,000 donation to Vision West

Mountrail County Commissioners approved multiple routine administrative items on July 21. The board classified Erica Taylor as a Correctional Officer I at $28.61 per hour ($59,500 annually) and approved promotion of Desta Woods to Eligibility Worker II at $27.36 per hour ($56,908.80 annually). Both personnel motions passed on unanimous roll calls.
The board also approved a raffle permit for Coyote Wrestling Club Inc. at White Earth Bay on July 25–26, 2026 and authorized a $1,000 county donation to Vision West for its October 27 conference. Commissioner Joan Hollekim moved the Vision West donation and Commissioner Wayne Olson seconded; the donation motion carried unanimously.
