Principal Dr. Nona Richard and Vice Principal Luke Allen presented a school spotlight titled "Riding the Waves of Success," describing Carlton Oaks’ strategies to support student outcomes. The presentation emphasized a five‑level High Reliability School model, a safe and collaborative culture, positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS), and the use of Panorama survey data to inform instruction.
The presenters reviewed attendance patterns, a school‑wide model for effective instruction, collaboration time for staff, shared diagnostic results and projected CAASPP proficiency and quadrant growth for English Language Arts and mathematics in grades 3–8. Board members thanked Dr. Richard and Mr. Allen for their overview and for the progress at the school.
