Town Board ratifies routine approvals including commemorative bench, light-pole replacement and IT manual

At its July 28 special meeting the Town Board approved a set of routine consent items. Resolution No. 323 approved the installation of a commemorative bench at Lake Ida Park at the request of Steve Schwartz to honor Antonie Magliano and family, subject to Parks and Recreation Committee and Town design guidelines. Resolution No. 326 authorized payment of $4,000 to WirePro Electric for replacement of a fiberglass light pole and fixture in the Emerald Green Lighting District following a vehicle collision (Estimate #10253).
The board also adopted Resolution No. 327 establishing a bid date of Aug. 20, 2026 at 2 PM for Generator Service Maintenance for the Water & Sewer Department and Resolution No. 328 approving the Town Employee Guide to Information Security Policies (the IT Manual) and directing distribution and acknowledgement to all Town employees. Each action passed by a 3-0 vote of members present. These items were presented as routine operational approvals to maintain services and facilities.
