Council previews hearing on Saratoga Hospital PUD zoning amendment for 60,000 sq ft medical office building

The mayor told the council the second public hearing scheduled for tomorrow will consider proposed Local Law Number 4 of 2024, a zoning text amendment for the Saratoga Hospital PUD. The amendment would transfer a portion of the remaining development area in Zone A to Zone B to allow a new 60,000-square-foot medical office building and permit structured parking in Zone E.
Council members said the item has been on the docket for several sessions and the council will conduct a SEQR/seek public comment; a separate 'seeker' session was proposed for December 9 or 10 to close out outstanding technical questions. The presenter said the item will be considered at a dedicated meeting and that staff will coordinate calendars with outside counsel and stakeholders before scheduling the formal hearing.
