The council introduced a seeker/SEQR and the proposed Local Law No. 5 of 2024 to amend the zoning map by rezoning a parcel near Clement Avenue and Clinton Street (part of the Wesley community) from Woodlawn Oval PUD to Urban Residential UR1. Staff explained the parcel meets minimum UR1 lot requirements and that both county and City Planning Board advisory opinions were favorable.
A planning representative described the parcel as part of the broader Wesley community and said the developer proposes rezoning the lot to sell it as a single-family building lot; the council scheduled the short-form seeker to be led by Tony at tomorrow's meeting and will vote on the adoption of the local law at that time. As staff summarized, "This is 1 parcel that's part of the overall Wesley community on the corner of or near the corner of Clement And Clinton Street."
