Committee recommends Child Care Fund budget that aims for full reimbursement on part of services

Carly Bailey, Manistee County Director of Youth Services, presented the Child Care Fund budget for the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1, 2026, through Sept. 30, 2027. The committee recommended approval of the Child Care Fund Budget in the amount of $478,645.92 after discussion of reimbursement rates and program components.
"Ms. Bailey expects to reach the 100% reimbursable value of $56,520," the packet records. The MDHHS DHS‑2091 and DHS‑2094 appendices in the meeting packet outline program staffing, anticipated expenditures for in‑home and out‑of‑home care, and examples of proposed services and contracts that the county will use to support diversion and in‑home services.
