Superintendent: 43 new staff welcomed; All Staff Workshop Week scheduled

Superintendent Holmberg reported to the board on Aug. 18 that 43 new staff members participated in first-day workshops this week and thanked Teaching and Learning staff, mentors and administrators for supporting the new employees.
Holmberg announced that All Staff Workshop Week runs Aug. 25–28 and that the district will hold an all-district welcome on Aug. 27 at 10:30 a.m. in the West Gym. Holmberg also noted that the recent Community Ed Food Truck event was successful and thanked participants.
The superintendent's remarks aimed to update the board on staffing orientation and district morale ahead of the opening of school.
