Centennial School Board ratifies $5.19M in payables, approves personnel actions

The board also approved a broad set of personnel actions covering new hires, resignations, retirements, terminations, contract changes and leaves of absence for the coming school year. The personnel listings in the packet show multiple school-based hires with effective dates primarily in late August and early September, including new teachers and paraprofessionals, and retirements such as Kris Kottke's administrative assistant retirement effective Sept. 17, 2025. A leave of absence for Beth Coltvet, CTE teacher, was recorded from Aug. 25 to Nov. 12, 2025.
The consent agenda motion was made by Johnson and seconded by Hansen; the board voted 6-0-0 to carry the motion. The consent package also included approved amendments to school resource officer contracts with the cities of Blaine and Lino Lakes, recorded in the board materials.
The approval consolidates routine operational authorizations ahead of the start of the academic year and clears the district to proceed with payroll and the listed staffing changes.
