Board adopts several personnel and student-accounting policies
Summary
On Oct. 24 the board approved Policy 301.2 (Position Descriptions), Policy 610 (Field Trips), Policy 612.1 (Title I parent and family engagement) and Policy 713 (Student Activity Accounting).
Shawn Kirkeide presented several policies for board action. The board approved Policy 301.2 (Position Descriptions) on a motion by Kevin Gross and seconded by Mark Solberg; Policy 610 (Field Trips) on a motion by Carri Levitski and seconded by Nikki Johnson; Policy 612.1 (Development of Parent and Family Engagement Policies for Title I Programs) on a motion by Carri Levitski and seconded by Nikki Johnson; and Policy 713 (Student Activity Accounting) on a motion by Mark Solberg and seconded by Kevin Gross. All motions carried unanimously.
These adoptions update position descriptions, field-trip rules, Title I family engagement policy and student activity accounting procedures as presented by administration. The minutes record approval "as presented"; the policies were adopted with no recorded amendments.
