South Roxana board approves minutes, routine bills and two communications and budget measures

The Village of South Roxana board approved routine governance items and two formal measures at its Feb. 3, 2026 meeting.
Terrah Bevolo moved to approve the Jan. 6, 2026 meeting minutes; Greg Adams seconded and the motion carried 4-0. The board similarly approved bills for Jan. 1–Jan. 31, 2026, and deposits for the same period by 4-0 votes. Minutes and financial approvals were handled early in the agenda and recorded as unanimous votes of those present.
On substantive items, the board voted 4-0 to adopt Resolution No. 26-23, authorizing execution of a communications service agreement with TextMyGov. The board also adopted Ordinance No. 26-23, the annual appropriation for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 2026, and ending April 30, 2027; Greg Adams moved the ordinance and Terrah Bevolo seconded.
