Auditor: Centerville in 'very good' financial state; city asked to aim for March 30 audit completion

In the audit discussion, Mr. Steele said the city could consider raising water and sewer rates to help offset long-term costs such as water- and sewer-line repairs, equipment maintenance and construction needs. Council did not set any rate changes at the July 8 meeting; the audit presentation and the suggestion to consider rate adjustments were recorded for future budget discussions.
