The board also designated Highland Bank, U.S. Bank, Minnesota School Liquid Asset Fund and PMA Financial Network as district financial institutions, and authorized Jordan Huntbatch to conduct electronic fund transfers.
As part of consent items, the board designated Klun Law Firm as district legal counsel for 2025 at a rate of $135 per hour (the minutes note the 2024 rate had been $125/hour) and recommended the Ely Echo as the district's official newspaper for the year.
