Ely board rejects pay increase, keeps 2024 compensation levels

Following the failed motion, Board Member Tom Omerza moved, and Westlund seconded, to keep the school board compensation rates at the 2024 levels with no increase; that motion carried 6-0. The minutes record the votes and the board's decision to maintain current pay instead of applying the inflationary adjustment presented earlier in the agenda.
