Board approves multiple fiscal and purchasing measures, and an adult lunch price change

At its Aug. 27 meeting, the Center Point ISD Board approved several administrative and fiscal items grouped on the agenda. The board approved the Kerr CAD Adopted Budget (F.3), authorized a Region 10 Education Service Center interlocal purchasing agreement (F.4), and revised the CH (LOCAL) policy to increase the single-item purchasing threshold (F.5). Each motion was moved and seconded as recorded and passed with five yea votes and two absences.
Board members also approved an adjustment to adult meal prices in the cafeteria for lunch only (F.6). Jesse Segura moved the meal-price adjustment and Jimmy Nibblett seconded; the motion passed 5–0 (two absent).
