Town Planner Jason Bachand told the Planning Board on Aug. 5 that work at 549 Ocean Boulevard is scheduled to begin in September 2026 and that the applicant requested a two-year extension of the wetlands permit. The board voted to grant the extension through Nov. 6, 2028, on a 7-0-0 vote.
Bachand recommended the extension and the board approved the motion without amendment. The extension preserves the project’s permitting window while the applicant prepares to start construction this fall.
