At the April 14 special meeting, district staff presented a Permanent Improvement (PI) financial overview showing unencumbered projected balances of $1,121,411.55 in the PI (003) account, $2,379,464.15 in the building fund (004), and $383,000.00 in the campus master plan fund (070), for a combined unencumbered total of $3,883,875.70.
Staff listed a remaining receivable of $99,914.58 expected in spring 2025 and estimated FY26 receipts of about $1,900,000.00 from property taxes, yielding a projected all-funds unencumbered balance of $5,883,790.28. Projects currently identified for PI funding — including a campus driveway estimate (~$2.25M) and other non-encumbered projects (~$2.76M) — leave a projected carryover for planning of about $876,179.59 into FY27.
Board members reviewed updates to a priority list of projects funded through PI, including completed items and new additions intended to preserve general fund dollars. The presentation included line-item budget figures for major PI projects and identified funding sources, projected receipts, and estimated carryover for future planning; no vote was taken on reallocating PI funds at this meeting.
