The Heritage Pines Community Development District board adopted Resolution 2025-03 on April 15, 2025, approving a proposed Operation and Maintenance budget for Fiscal Year 2025/2026 and scheduling a public hearing for July 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Heritage Pines Country Club meeting room.
District Manager Chuck Adams told the board the proposed FY2026 budget is similar to the prior year but reflects a net decrease of approximately $4,000 in appropriations and that "the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) assessment is projected to decrease by $2.88 per unit, year-over-year." The adoption came on a motion by Supervisor Arthur Rhodes, seconded by Supervisor Carol Vaughan, and passed with all supervisors present voting in favor.
The resolution also addresses transmittal, posting and publication requirements under Florida law and provides an effective date. The board set the required public hearing for July 15, 2025, at which members of the public may comment on the proposed assessments and budget. District staff will follow statutory notice and posting procedures prior to the hearing.
