Eden athletics: winter season brings scholar-athlete honors, historic wrestling results

He highlighted individual and team achievements: varsity cheer took first place at two competitions, Kobe Jenko reached 1,000 career points and Eden wrestling won its division and placed highly at ECIC and state events.
"My name is Bryce Delapenta. I'm a senior here at Eden, and I recently finished my 6th my 6th varsity season in wrestling," Delapenta said, describing wrestling as a source of friendship, personal growth and belonging. He thanked coaches and the school board for support. Board members commended coaches and noted the athletic program's role in student engagement and academic performance.
The presentation included recognition of postseason qualifiers and described continuing work to broaden participation during winter months when fewer sports are offered.
