Leslie Schmerber, career and technology coordinator, presented memos and quotes to purchase updated curriculum and certification materials from the National Healthcare Association for health-science programs and to renew/purchase the ICEV digital platform for the Career and Technical Education department. Trustees approved both purchases at the Aug. 19 meeting.
The minutes record that the board authorized the purchases "as presented." The approvals allow the district to update certification materials and continue digital delivery and assessment tools for career pathways; the motion for the ICEV renewal was seconded by Trustee Michael Stroman.
Staff will proceed with purchasing per district procurement rules and integrate the materials into health science and CTE classroom instruction.
