The Ballinger ISD Board of Trustees approved a Memorandum of Understanding with Angelo State University, Ballinger ISD and the Region 15 Educational Service Center to participate in the Texas Strategic Staffing (TSS) partnership.
The MOU designates Angelo State University as the Educator Preparation Program (EPP), Ballinger ISD as the Local Education Agency (LEA) and Region 15 ESC as the Technical Assistance Provider (TAP). The board voted unanimously to approve the agreement as presented; the motion was moved by Mr. Slaughter and seconded by Mr. Battle.
The MOU is intended to support strategic staffing and teacher preparation in the district. The meeting packet included the MOU attachment for further terms and responsibilities.
