Bells ISD board adopts 2025–26 school calendar

The Bells ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously Feb. 10 to adopt the district’s 2025–26 school calendar. Lonnie Carter moved to adopt the calendar and Stephanie Nettles seconded; the motion passed 7-0.
Board President Matt Stephens opened the meeting at 6:30 p.m. and the calendar item was taken up during the board’s action-item session. The calendar covers the district’s instructional days, scheduled holidays and planned breaks for the upcoming school year; the board approved it “as presented.” No amendments or alternate calendar options were recorded in the meeting minutes.
The adoption follows the board’s review of recommendations from district administrators. With the calendar approved, staff will proceed to publish the schedule for families and update the district’s registration and planning materials.
