The board approved a series of personnel actions during the meeting, including retirements, appointments and tenure confirmations.
The clerk read motions accepting resignations for the purpose of retirement: Margaret Cudahy (elementary teacher), Annette Behan (music teacher) and Amy Porter (math teacher), each with effective dates on July 1, 2026. The retirement motions were seconded and carried; the record shows at least one abstention on the Cudahy retirement ("Courtney abstain").
The board also granted tenure to Andrea Garrison (elementary teacher effective 02/19/2026) after she successfully completed her probationary period. Multiple probationary and permanent appointments were approved for cafeteria monitors, bus attendants and substitute drivers; the board added Matt Della Penta as an approved occasional driver and approved the transportation route spreadsheet effective 01/30/2026.
All motions were moved, seconded and carried as read; recorded votes were made by voice in the meeting minutes. These personnel actions were processed on the superintendent's recommendation and become effective on the dates stated in the motions.
