Bartlett ISD honors teachers and staff for August achievements

The 3rd Grade Teaching Team — Kathy Hernandez and Kelleigh Nichols — were named Elementary Staff Bulldogs of the Month for leadership, mentoring new teachers and high STAAR scores. Linda Huebner was named Secondary Staff Bulldog of the Month and was noted for winning State and Regional Teacher of the Year awards at the FCSTAT conference this summer.
Minutes say Huebner has worked at the district since 2012, teaches dual-credit child-development classes and serves as FCCLA advisor; the awards were selected from roughly 5,500 teachers at the state and regional level, according to the report.
