Deputy Superintendent Dr. Kristi Lee presented proposed attendance boundary maps and enrollment projections designed to incorporate Adelton Elementary and two soon‑to‑open middle schools, Riverside and Creekside.
Dr. Lee explained that elementary assignments were shifted in limited areas to balance projected enrollments; the board was told minor high school boundary adjustments were also part of the proposal. Trustee Billy Moore moved to approve the 2025–2026 attendance boundaries; Trustee Chris M. Dillon seconded the motion. President Ashley Mutschink called for a vote and the motion carried unanimously.
Staff noted the district expects to revisit boundaries again when Elementary School #10 opens in 2026–27 and will continue monitoring enrollment to keep campuses balanced.
