Superintendent Theodore Clevenger reported that Bartlett ISD received a preliminary TEA FIRST rating of 88, noting the score reflected the district’s debt obligations. He said the district has hired two instructional coaches, increased certified teacher staffing and plans quarterly data reports to track progress toward academic goals.
Clevenger described progress on facilities — fire suppression systems installed, plumbing rough-ins completed and plans to retrofit the high school gym lighting to LEDs — and said the district is pursuing a Community Block Grant to offset electrical costs for new facilities. “Our goal is a 94% A Rating,” he said. The superintendent also noted data corrections are being pursued on CCMR reports and that Region 13 supports instructional materials alignment.
