The Governing Board of the Montecito Sanitary District convened a regular meeting at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026, at 1042 Monte Cristo Lane in Santa Barbara and via Zoom. Directors Barrett, Johnson, Newquist, Ohlmann and Rockenbach were recorded present; John Weigold, MSD General Manager, and Stephen Williams, MSD Business and Administrative Manager/Clerk of the Board, participated.
During the public comment period the board recorded that no members of the public addressed the board. The meeting then proceeded to committee reports, including Finance, Personnel, and a Joint Strategic Planning meeting with neighboring utility districts.
