Board approves irrigation repairs, authorizes up to $15,000

District Engineer Charlie Krebs presented a revised scope for the Seaside & Master Drainage Project and noted ancillary irrigation costs related to damaged wiring ($4,002.50) and raising seven to eight irrigation heads at roughly $1,300 each. MRI expects the drainage work to begin within two to three weeks.
On a motion by Supervisor Kurt Blumenthal and seconded by Chair Bob Schultz, the board approved the Irrigation Concepts change order to repair the wiring and raise irrigation heads in a not-to-exceed amount of $15,000.
