The Bellville Independent School District Board approved a waiver to permit provision of remote homebound instruction at a special retreat on Oct. 14, 2024. The motion to approve the waiver was made by Grant Lischka and seconded by Jim Batson; the minutes record the vote as 6-0. Board President Sarah Buenger called the meeting to order at 5:15 p.m.; Regina Gillum joined at 5:18 p.m. and Kenneth Stein joined at 5:19 p.m. (the record notes Stein joined after the vote was taken).
There were no public comments during the open forum. The minutes show the board adjourned at 5:19 p.m. on a motion by Grant Lischka, seconded by Regina Gillum. The meeting minutes were later approved on Oct. 24, 2024, per the record.
