Council approves inlet and ditch work; Quincy Street ROW surveying removed from consent

City Engineer Brian Schuele presented cost information and recommended the Pavers proposal for the area inlet at Van Buren & Garden. Dan Zieg moved and Josh Buck seconded approval of the Pavers proposal; the motion passed on a roll call vote.
Schuele also recommended cleaning the ditch on the north side of Cottonwood at Cochrane Corner to improve drainage after culvert work, estimating costs not to exceed $13,000. Pete Simmons moved and Jesse Schmidt seconded a motion to approve the ditch work not to exceed $13,000 with mayor approval; the motion carried. Separately, the Catlett Surveying fee of $2,500 for the Quincy Street ROW project had been pulled from the consent agenda for further outreach to property owners before approval.
