Board extends MOU with LA County Department of Mental Health to 2028 for Student Well‑Being Centers

The Montebello Unified School District Board on Jan. 21 approved Amendment No. 2 to an existing Memorandum of Understanding with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (DMH), extending the term of the agreement through June 30, 2028.
The MOU continues mental‑health services and Student Well‑Being Centers at selected Montebello campuses at no cost to the district, students or families. The agenda item states all other provisions of the original MOU will remain the same and that a copy of Amendment No. 2 will be filed in the Assistant Superintendent's Office, Student Services. The approval was included in the consent agenda ratification called by Vice President Jennifer Gutierrez.
