Bells ISD approves student travel: Beta qualifiers to Orlando, band trip to Branson

The Bells ISD Board unanimously approved requests allowing Pritchard Jr. High and Bells High School state qualifiers to attend the National Beta Convention in Orlando this summer and approved a Bells Panther Band trip to Branson, Missouri, in March 2026. Both items were approved by 6-0 recorded votes.
The Beta convention permission was moved by Lonnie Carter and seconded by Gary Payne; the Branson band trip motion was moved by Gary Payne and seconded by Jeremy Moore. The approvals clear district permission for student travel and support the participation of state-qualifying students and the high-school band on their planned out-of-state trips.
