The Bells ISD Board of Trustees on March 17 adopted a Certification of Unopposed Candidates and an Order of Cancellation for the May 3, 2025 trustee election, certifying Lonnie Carter and Cole Kimberling as duly elected to three-year terms. The motions passed unanimously, 6-0.
Board members voted to cancel the scheduled election after determining there were no contested races. The certification and cancellation were moved and seconded by board members during the consent and action portions of the meeting and recorded as unanimous actions. The board’s action means the two incumbents will begin three-year terms without an election being held.
