Montebello Unified approves no-cost MOU with Pacific Clinics for school-based mental health services

The Board approved a Memorandum of Understanding between Montebello Unified School District and Pacific Clinics on Nov. 19 to provide school-based and community-based mental-health services to students and families at no cost, effective Nov. 6, 2025 through June 30, 2028.
The minutes state: "That the Board of Education approves the attached Memorandum of Understanding with Pacific Clinics and Montebello Unified School District (MUSD) for school-based and community-based mental health services for MUSD, its students, and families. All services will be provided at no cost to students, families, or MUSD, effective November 6, 2025, through June 30, 2028." A copy of the MOU will be maintained in the Student Services office.
The MOU was listed among consent items and was adopted by roll call as part of the consent agenda. The district packet indicates funding and program oversight will be coordinated through Student Services; the minutes do not specify budgeted amounts because services are to be provided at no cost under the agreement.
District leaders and Student Services staff will be the internal contacts for implementation; the agreement is filed in the Student Services office per the minutes.
