The board recognized Students of the Month for January and February from Big Sandy Elementary, Big Sandy Junior High and Big Sandy High School. Announced students included Mya Taylor and Geanna Perez (Elementary); Alex Jitjaeng, Allison Melchor, Jayden Fierros and Briyah Sheeley (Junior High); and Evan Jitjaeng, Skylar Hamberg, Natalia Fierros and Bailey Isaac (High School).
The recognitions were presented during the opening portion of the meeting; no action was required by the board beyond acknowledgment and congratulations.
