Board approves teacher hire, educator contract renewals and letters of assurance

After returning from executive session, the board took multiple personnel actions in open session. Trustee Brock Weatherford moved to hire Kelly Beall as an elementary teacher; Trustee Pete Mancill seconded the motion and it passed with six yea votes and one absence.
The board also approved professional dual contracts for secondary campus staff, approved probationary professional educator contracts for teachers on both the elementary and secondary campuses, and approved letters of reasonable assurance for para-professional and auxiliary staff for 2025–2026.
