Blue Ridge ISD trustees elect John Gaulden president, Kevin Dauster vice president

Trustees then elected Kevin Dauster as Board Vice President on a motion by Murphy seconded by Jenna Capps. The board also approved a nomination for Scott Cessna as Board Secretary. All three organizational motions passed with recorded votes of five in favor and two absent (Scott Cessna and Matt Grier recorded as absent). The board recorded individual votes by trustee name as part of the official minutes.
The leadership changes take effect immediately for board governance and bank-signature authorizations, which the board handled later in the meeting. The reorganization followed the swearing-in of new trustees earlier in the meeting.
