The Brooks County ISD Board of Trustees convened its public meeting on Aug. 26, 2024; Board President Jose M. Lopez called the meeting to order at 4:41 p.m., and Secretary Teresa A. Silvas conducted roll call. Present were President Jose M. Lopez; Vice President Veronica R. Tijerina; Secretary Teresa A. Silvas; Maria E. Anzualda; James T. Maupin, III; and David C. Salinas. Trustee Jessica M. Quintanilla was absent.
After the Finance Director's presentation of the proposed 2024-25 budget and tax-rate options and the public comment period (no speakers), Vice President Veronica R. Tijerina motioned to adjourn; Secretary Teresa A. Silvas seconded. The motion carried unanimously, 6-0, and the meeting was adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
