Garcia presented the calendar modification as an administrative recommendation; Veronica R. Tijerina moved the motion and Jessica M. Quintanilla seconded. The board took the vote during the Oct. 2 special meeting, and no public comments were offered on the item. The change will be implemented for the current school year as approved by the board.
