Councilmember seeks PFAS briefing as opioid-abatement dashboard goes live

At the Feb. 24 meeting Councilmember Belock reported on recent Opioid Abatement Council activity and said a new dashboard is available to view how opioid-abatement funds are being used. In the Public Safety Committee, she said members discussed including Parks and Recreation in some opioid funding. Belock asked for a future presentation on Cheney's wells and PFAS.
Councilmember Nazzaro reported on a recent Coffee with Council event and Councilmember Long updated the council on the General Government and Historic Preservation committees and a Fire District 3 strategy meeting. Councilmember Barthels also requested a presentation at a future meeting estimating the cost to revise Normal Park Road to accommodate UGA changes.
