The amendment authorizes $1,106,649 for early procurement of key equipment and adjusts scope to remove certain demolition elements to be completed by Public Works.
Staff noted the early procurement covers Aerzen blowers, which have a lead time of approximately 40 weeks; Aerzen offered to hold pricing until the end of January, avoiding an estimated 7% price increase. The minutes state the authorized expenditure will be paid from a combination of an Ecology loan and an EDI grant.
