The scope includes two inches of HMA overlay from curb to curb at the intersection, replacement of five non‑compliant ADA ramps, and restriping to restore marked crosswalks.
City staff told the council the remaining 20% match—$149,435—is budgeted in the Transportation Benefit District fund. The grant and associated contract were included in the Jan. 21 consent agenda and approved as part of the consent motion (7‑0). Work is intended to bring the intersection into ADA compliance and restore roadway surface and markings prior to busier spring and summer periods.
