Lyndon Station denies private on-site sewer/water requests pending development plans

The Village of Lyndon Station board on June 8 denied requests to install private on-site sewer and to install private on-site water and sewer at specified properties, saying the village will not grant permissions until developers or property owners submit concrete plans. President Bob Darnell moved to deny a private on-site sewer for a Washington Street property; Trustee Jan Miller moved to deny private on-site water and sewer at properties owned by Brian and Jessica Hoehn on West Limits Road. Both motions passed unanimously.
Clerk/Treasurer Michelle Klein and Public Works lead Steve Klicko presented a list of properties not currently connected to village water or sewer. The board identified properties that need not connect now because infrastructure is absent and directed staff to send notice to properties that are required to connect; a proposed notice will return for board review.
