Council schedules OEM deputy appointments, planning-board seat filled and several community events and licenses set for Jan. 15 agenda

Council agreed to place resolutions on the Jan. 15 agenda to renew towing licenses for ABC Towing, Apex Auto Body Inc., and Sano's Towing for the 2026 licensing year; and to approve community events including a Lunar New Year Flower Market on Feb. 15, 2026 and a Youth Council Color Run at the Jack Alter Fort Lee Community Center on April 25, 2026.
Most items were placed on the Jan. 15 agenda for formal action; the work session did not include employment background checks for appointees, fees for towing licenses, or event permits' detailed logistics. Council directed staff to prepare the full resolutions and accompanying documentation.
